“The only words that ever satisfied me as describing Nature are the terms used in fairy books, charm, spell, enchantment. They express the arbitrariness of the fact and its mystery" ~ Gilbert Keith Chesterton

GREAT photos...and I'm loving the bee!
Great capture from bud to blooms! :)
Great photos, your just busy as the bee!
Thanks everyone, this Rhodie is right outside my kitchen window. Every morning I have watched it unfold into it's full glory, I loved the play of light on the brick and wanted to capture it. I am very fortunate that my landlord planted a perennial garden for me to enjoy (and I don't even have to pull weeds :)
Love the flair with which you presented the rhodie -- and the bee.
Lovely photos. You certainly have many talents!
What a clever way to show this beautiful flower.
Why thank you Nell, I try :)
LOL Sue .. don't know about that, but I do love playing with my digital camera :)
Thanks Balisha .. I love my view from the window while I drink my morning coffee .. that and the absolute quiet of the house :)
I wait for my rhodies like crazy - they're the first to bloom. I love all the photos - but the bud - showing so much promise really touched me.
Thank you Claudia ... I love Rhodies too.
such lovely colors and shapes, and i'll bet the aroma is nothing to sniff at either...or in this case, something to definitely sniff at. :)
Thanks Grace :)
