Zinnia Seeds...

My daughter, Racquel, sent me some Zinnia seeds to sow. I pampered them and teased them that the other flowers in the garden were going to overshadow them if they did not bloom. These delicate, lovely little flowers took their time. They knew that soon the Verbenas would be spent and the rest of the showoffs would need to be pruned and deadheaded, their moment has come. They currently stand alone on the stage of blooms and they were well worth the wait.

I love the colors....

....lots of little buds in there

The title of this post was changed because of the advertising it generated.

lovely--this is the perfect flower to do the whole "he loves me, he loves me not" thing...if you can sacrifice it. :)

They're not the 'old maids' of grandma's day. Great container plants, aren't they? I scavenged seeds last year from urns in front of the bank and then forgot to plant them. Wonder where they are?

Lucy I have no idea :)

Grace .. oh "he loves me", no sacrificing necessary :)

Nell .. yes, and so easy to sow .. definitely on the "repeat" for next year list :)

How splendid. I adore zinnias and they blessedly - just grow as they are supposed to! I left you something in my blog - an "appreciation."

I planted some....but i think all the rain we got did something to them. They are barely doing well. Last year I had an explosion. Oh well.

Here I am again. I am tagging you for a Meme. Raquel is in this Meme, too, I noticed. I think the person who honored her may have tagged me, or tagged the person who awarded me, or is somebody's cousin or something.

Anyhow, you've not been blogging. I hope you're okay.

Click on my name to see the video and what I said about you. Taking part is optional; I hope you will. We say it's an honor; actually it's a backtrack so other people may get to know you from somebody else's blog.
